Capturing your Ohana

I'm super excited to be focusing a lot of my energy on working with families in Hawaii. As the youngest of four, I value my family more than most things in life. So when I have a family sign on for a portrait, I'm always excited to get to know them during the session and capture their personalities and fun little unspoken dynamics whenever I can.

I had the opportunity to work with this great Honolulu family at one of their favorite places to go together on the weekends and relax. When we got there the kids were immediately comfortable looking for sand crabs and ready to throw a pole in the water. It's always great to photograph at a family's "backyard" beach because the more relaxed everyone is, the more fun we'll have during the shoot.
